Quran’s scientific miracle in revealing the presence of “Cumulonimbus clouds”

By: Mohamad massarweh

"Do you not see that Allah drives clouds? Then He brings them together, then He makes them into a mass, and you see the rain emerge from within it. And He sends down from the sky, mountains [of clouds] within which is hail, and He strikes with it whom He wills and averts it from whom He wills. The flash of its lightening almost takes away the eyesight" 24:43

Stormy winds drive   cotton-like clouds known as   "Cumulus  clouds"  stacking  and heaping them  to form giant dense  towering  vertical clouds named " Cumulonimbus  clouds" (Do you not see that Allah drives clouds? Then He brings them together, then He makes them into a mass). Well-developed cumulonimbus clouds are characterized by a flat, anvil-like top, caused by wind shear . The clouds' top  may precede the main clouds'  vertical component for many miles, and  be accompanied by lightning. "Cumulus  clouds"  are  formed at altitude from  200 to 4,000 m . typically their peaks  reach to as much as 12,000 m Occasionally, rising air parcels surpass the equilibrium level (due to momentum) and form an

Rising air currents carrying water vapour  get into these clouds where  temperatures  are 15-25 c below  zero. Isnside  the clouds there are powerful upward and down ward air currents that condense  wate vapour   to become tiny droplets  and hail, the cloud's is electrically charged , rising praticles of snow and water collide with downward currents of heavy hail. Consequently ,clouds upper portion is positevly  charged while the mid  and  low parts  are negative charged. Thus  hail paticles grow bigger as they circulate within the core till they become too heavy and released out as hail storm
